For over 70 years, La Villa Lorraine has kept Brussels gastronomy alive. Founded in 1953 by Marcel Kreusch, the House was built around a simple idea: welcoming with precision, cooking with exigence.
Over the decades, its kitchens have welcomed great Chefs: Camille Lurkin, Freddy Vandecasserie, Alain Bianchin, Maxime Colin, Gary Kirchens, Yves Mattagne. So many talents who shaped the identity and renown of a House that became a benchmark, the first restaurant outside France to earn 3 Michelin stars in 1972.
In 2010, Serge Litvine took over La Villa Lorraine and extended this spirit in motion.
His vision is clear: to make the Villa a living, open place, carried by the energy of the kitchen and the bond it forges with the dining room.
Today, the story continues alongside Chef Ruben Christiaens. Having trained at prestigious Houses, from the Netherlands to the United States, via France, he delivers a direct and instinctive cuisine based on product, precision of cooking, depth of sauces. A sincere, legible cuisine, turned towards pleasure.
With this new chapter, La Villa Lorraine affirms a unified vision: one place. One experience. One menu.
More fluid, more open, more alive — the House continues its story with the same ambition as at its beginnings: offering moments that are precise, warm, and deeply gastronomic.
